Dr. Wesley Davis
Wesley received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in Ithaca NY. Wesley has experience in a variety of patient populations and believes in a hands-on functional approach through manual therapy and corrective exercises that allow the patient to feel better and move better. He believes in treating the whole patient - not just their injury - in order to empower the patient to get back to their favorite activities.
Wesley has worked in a variety of settings with patients of all ages and levels of function but has a particularly strong interest in working in sports rehabilitation and performance. He developed this love for treating athletes during graduate school when he worked with the Ithaca College tennis team, as well as, during a clinical experience down in Blacksburg VA where he treated D1 athletes from Virginia Tech. Wesley has a particular interest in shoulder pathologies and the overhead athlete, as well as, post surgical patients.
Wesley is also a Certified Tennis Performance Specialist which allows him to specialize in rehabilitating and preventing tennis related injuries. He uses this certification to recognize physical impairments leading to injuries and can treat these with targeted manual therapy and therapeutic exercises to allow tennis players to perform at their peak. As a varsity collegiate tennis player himself he knows the injuries tennis players can suffer and how to prevent and treat them. In his spare time, Wesley likes to play and teach tennis, hang out with friends and find new restaurants and coffee shops throughout the Boston area.
