Dr. Miranda Duffany

PT, DPT
Woburn Clinic

Dr. Miranda Duffany is committed to building relationships with patients that allow for collaboration in developing a rehab plan that fits their specific needs and goals. She graduated from Northeastern University where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Prior, she attended Fitchburg State University and receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology and attended Dean College earning her Associates of Arts in Dance Studies.

Miranda is a pelvic health specialist receiving training via the Herman and Wallace Institute. Her inspiration for pursuing a specialty in pelvic health comes from her own experience struggling with chronic pelvic pain and the associated challenges. As a patient of pelvic floor physical therapy herself, she can relate to the psychosocial and physical strains as well as the barriers in accessing high quality knowledge and care.

She strives to provide compassionate care - wanting to know all ways in which your condition affects you, not just your "top 3". She is trained in assessing and treating conditions such as bowel/bladder dysfunction, pelvic pain, painful intercourse, prolapse, and pre/post/peri-natal care, with a special interest in endometriosis.

In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and dog, and seeking out new coffee shops with friends!
