Dr. Rachel Major

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Rachel Major is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. Prior, she graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology.

During her time at Sacred Heart University, Rachel was a Kinesiology Teacher’s Assistant, instructed pediatric swimming lessons with an Occupational Therapist, and frequently volunteered with the Special Olympics. She loved promoting health and wellness to various populations.

At UMass Lowell, Rachel found a passion for healing her patients in the outpatient setting. As a clinical student, she treated patients of all ages, from two months, to 101 years old. She has additional special interests and experience in Neurological and Vestibular Rehabilitation.

Rachel is a Massachusetts native, and spends summer weekends lounging on Lake Winnipesaukee with her family. Growing up, her love for athletics and movement rose from playing soccer and running track. Outside of the clinic, Rachel enjoys running, going to spin class, reading, and weekend get-away trips.
